Invites and Flower Girls

Thought I'd continue to display all the details of the wedding, so here's some more! This is part of the invites. They are actually hot pink on the outside, then orange on the inside, with this paper acting as a border (kinda hard to explain I just realized...) This is also the design that my cake man is using on the cake (hot pink icing with this design as white fondant).

I'm also trying to decide between two patterns for the flower girl dress. Here's one:

and the other:

The flower girl is my cousin Lily, but only if her mom (Jenny, my florist) wants to have to chase after the little hellion all weekend (she's a little nuts...that's why I like her...)

And Heather told me that Annabelle (whom was just born last Thursday!) could play flowergirl for me too. We'll just put her in a flower covered wagon and have Gus and Carson pull her down the aisle... :)

Flower Power

Okay, so I thought I'd go after opinions again...It's looking like these are my two options for bouquets (maybe a little different, but something to give my cousin Jenny an idea of what I want...) These would be the attendants' flowers, as mine would have some orange in it too :)

This is probably the hardest part for me cause it just doesn't matter all that much to me (should it??) As long as they are pink, I don't really care...but Jenny's making me decide, so help!

World Wide Kelsey...

So this is kind of random, but I'm excited about it...My department that I'm getting my doctorate from at OSU has put some of the doc students up on their website...yay!

It's the little things that make me happy... :)

Special Delivery

So I couldn't help it...Tatumbell crawled into this box the other day, and he looked out at me with the cutest face ever, so I had to take a picture...and then post it here so everyone else could see... :)

and then here's the cups! So excited about them!

Sad day in Phi Mu land...

The Epsilon Nu chapter of Phi Mu lost a member this weekend, Kelli Mellon, while she attempted to pass an "oversize" load going southbound on highway 177 right outside of Ponca City and collided head on with another car. Kelli pledged Phi Mu as a sophomore in '06, and I remember vividly when she arrived on bid day because she literally had the most illuminating smile I'd ever seen on someone.

And on behalf of the the collegiate members, thank you so much for all that's been done up to this point to ease them through this, I know they appreciate it. Kelli was from Lawson, Missouri, about five hours away from Stillwater, so OSU has offered to provide one charter bus for the trip, and with the amount of women wanting to attend funeral services this Saturday, another bus is needed, which has been graciously paid for by the Tulsa Alumnae chapter.
